This is how to read the ingredient list:

True soap is made from oils and potassiumhydroxide instead of sodiumhydroxide—either potassium hydroxide, also known as caustic potash, creates soft soap crystals. Consequently, soap has an ingredient list with INCI names beginning with: Potassium. The names indicate that the soap's ingredients are fatty acid salts (soft soap/bar soap) saponified with potassium hydroxide and the respective oil.

So this is not a matter of a “foreign chemical” being added, but simply the specific name of the soap that has been formed and the oil or fat from which it was made. In everyday language we say soap; in “chemical language,” soap made from rapeseed oil is called: Potassium canolate. And water, of course, that's just ordinary water.

⁃ Nonionic surfactants: Surfactants (surface-active agents) are often used in cosmetics and liquid soap, as wetting agents and in cleaning products; they dissolve grease and dirt.
⁃ Potassium canolate: Soap, dissolves particularly greasy dirt.
⁃ Chelating agent: Regulates the hardness of the water so that the laundry detergent also works in hard water.
⁃ CMC, Polycarboxylates: Made from selectively harvested Finnish forest, they thicken the laundry detergent, make it more viscous, and help remove dirt with the wash water. 
⁃ Potassium citrate: Regulates the pH value.
