Clean outdoors for winter
Sara Idenfors
It's not much fun to take your winter jacket out of storage and discover that you forgot to wash it before putting it away.
It's just as frustrating to find your patio or deck dirty and stained when spring arrives. By cleaning and tidying up between seasons, everything becomes both easier and more enjoyable.

Scrub away this year's stains from barbecuing, juice, and coffee on your patio to make spring more enjoyable. If you are a gardener, it's also a good idea to clean pots and tools; despite the cold, pests can actually overwinter and get the next season off to a bad start. By scrubbing your tools with soap, you can avoid this.
